Hydraulics Most failures are due to heat. Units have become heavier and faster which results in higher operating temperatures. Service and maintenance become increasingly important to the life of the hydraulic system. Debris build up on and around hydraulic components greatly increases oil temperatures and defeats their ability to cool. Keep wheel pump, motor and brake areas clean of debris. Recommended Service Intervals (this is maximum hours) All units with pump and wheel motors All Next Generation ExmarksAfter first 250 hours then ● Every 500 hours with Exmark oil● Every 500 hours there after with Exmark oil ● Every 250 hours with Mobil 1 ● Every 250 hours with Mobil 1 Consider the following for all units 1) Bagger installed 2) Operating on hill 3) Size of operator Subtract 50 hours for each that apply.
